Very few people know why they give chocolate to sweeten their mouth during Valentine's Week. Chocolate is a kind of mood booster. According to a research, dark chocolate is beneficial for the heart along with reducing stress.

According to one survey, dark chocolate is very much liked by Indian people. People in the age group of 18-24 demand more chocolate products online.
In its early days chocolate test was pungent. The seeds of cocoa were roasted by fermenting it, then it was brewed. After that, adding water, vanilla, honey and other spices to make it a lukewarm drink. It used to be a royal drink at the time.

The history of chocolate is almost 4000 years old. Chocolate first arrived in Spain in Europe. The Spanish explorer Hernando Cortes arrived in the court of King Montezuma of Aztec where he first introduced chocolate.
It is said that chocolate was introduced by the people of America. In 1528, Spain took over Mexico, but when the king went back to Spain, he took cocoa seeds with him.
Some people even says that the chocolate-making cocoa tree was first found in the jungles of America. There are almost 70% of the cocoa from the Africa in the world.
