Cabbage is a leafy green, red, or a white biennial vegetable that is grown annually.
This veggie belongs to the Brassica family and is spherical or oval in form.
It consists of soft, clear green or whitish inner leaves covered with harder and dark green outer leaves.
1) Cabbage has many antioxidants particularly red cabbage. Which is chock full of anthocyanins. Inquiry shows that antioxidants can reduce inflammation, be protective against certain cancers and enhance brain function.

2)Cabbage also contains glucosinolates that can be converted into isothiocyanate compounds. This conversion helps in the prevention of several cancers, including breast cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and colon cancer.
3) Rich in fiber and glucosinolates, cabbage helps the body hold water and it maintains the bulkiness of the food as it moves through the bowels.
4) Cabbage is rich in antioxidants, including vitamin C, anthocyanins, and S. Antioxidants act as a major role in skin health and the body’s response to the aging process.
